How to cook:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees fan forced
  • Place chicken in a roasting pan. Brush with butter or oil. Season to taste.
  • Roast for approximately 2 hours, basting with juices and turning every 30 minutes, or until juices run clear.
  • Before carving, allow chicken to stand for 15-20 minutes – this gives the juices time to settle.
